Fig prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Fig in Nouméa: 24 units tested over 4 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Fig is allowed to say
We run fig the same way in Nouméa: same prefilled pod, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Fig sounds like one product. It is not: a prefilled pod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: fig in Nouméa works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on fig: 24 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested fig in a prefilled pod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every fig bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where fig goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why fig tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for fig in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a prefilled pod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.48 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF52 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
How long does fig in a prefilled pod last?
In Nouméa we measured 4 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
