Fig 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Fig in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 8 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the fig habit
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Fig in Nouméa reaches the shelf in 30 ml shortfill formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: fig in Nouméa works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig 30 ml shortfill really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested fig in a 30 ml shortfill
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a fig bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where fig goes wrong
- Mixing fig with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why fig tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Is fig legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
How much does a 30 ml shortfill cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.12 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF37 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
