Dessert RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Dessert in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 5 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Dessert is allowed to say
Dessert prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.94 per 10 ml.
Dessert in Nouméa reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long dessert tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a dessert RDA really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on dessert: 11 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested dessert in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Mixing dessert with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised XPF47 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.94 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How long does dessert in a RDA last?
In Nouméa we measured 5 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does dessert taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the dessert blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On dessert the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF1.94 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
