Dessert prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Dessert in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 6 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Dessert is allowed to say
Dessert prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: dessert in Nouméa works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a dessert prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
We run dessert the same way in Nouméa: same prefilled pod, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested dessert in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every dessert bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a dessert bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
