Dessert pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist
Dessert in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 3 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with dessert in New Caledonia
The honest read on dessert: 8 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run dessert the same way in Nouméa: same pod kit, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long dessert tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a dessert pod kit really costs in Nouméa
Dessert prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.7 per 10 ml.
How we tested dessert in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every dessert bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Mixing dessert with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
