Dessert pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Dessert in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 3 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What dessert costs in Nouméa
Dessert in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long dessert tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a dessert pen device really costs in Nouméa
Dessert pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 13 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested dessert in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every dessert bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long dessert in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF30 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.66 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
How long does dessert in a pen device last?
In Nouméa we measured 3 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does dessert taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the dessert blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should dessert start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
