Dessert mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Dessert in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 8 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
We run dessert the same way in Nouméa: same mesh tank, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Dessert prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.01 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long dessert tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a dessert mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested dessert in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a dessert bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing dessert with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does dessert taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the dessert blend itself harsh.
How long does dessert in a mesh tank last?
In Nouméa we measured 8 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
