Cream in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 2 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the cream habit
A cream prefilled pod from the value options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.35 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Cream prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.35 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long cream tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested cream in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where cream goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised XPF43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.35 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
