Cream mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist
Cream in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 8 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a mesh tank for cream
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Cream in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: cream in Nouméa works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cream mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Cream prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.43 per 10 ml.
How we tested cream in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where cream goes wrong
- Mixing cream with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cream tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for cream in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
