Cola RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist
Cola in Nouméa: 14 units tested over 3 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good RDA from a repack
The honest read on cola: 14 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run cola the same way in Nouméa: same RDA, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: cola in Nouméa works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cola RDA really costs in Nouméa
Cola prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.07 per 10 ml.
How we tested cola in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a cola bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where cola goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Mixing cola with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised XPF51 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.07 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.07 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF51 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does cola taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the cola blend itself harsh.
Is cola legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
