Cola pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the wholesale shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Cola in Nouméa: 16 units tested over 2 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good pen device from a repack
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
We run cola the same way in Nouméa: same pen device, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long cola tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cola pen device really costs in Nouméa
Cola pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 16 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested cola in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cola bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a cola bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where cola goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cola in Nouméa survives.
- Mixing cola with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cola tastes flat after two days.

In Nouméa we measured 2 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
