Coffee in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 3 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with coffee in New Caledonia
If you are looking at coffee in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the vape pen you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Coffee vape pen reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 7 units, vape pen, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a coffee vape pen really costs in Nouméa
Coffee prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.34 per 10 ml.
How we tested coffee in a vape pen
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a coffee bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Mixing coffee with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest vape pen available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long coffee in Nouméa survives.
