What coffee costs in Nouméa
Coffee in Nouméa reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.

The short version: coffee in Nouméa works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coffee mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Coffee in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested coffee in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every coffee bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF58 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.49 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long coffee in Nouméa survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coffee tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.49 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF58 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does coffee taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the coffee blend itself harsh.
