Coffee mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist
Coffee in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 9 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a mesh tank for coffee
Coffee mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run coffee the same way in Nouméa: same mesh tank, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long coffee tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a coffee mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
A coffee mesh tank from the pre-order options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.71 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested coffee in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a coffee bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Mixing coffee with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Is coffee legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.71 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF55 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does coffee taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the coffee blend itself harsh.
