Coconut pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist
Coconut in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 3 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good pod kit from a repack
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Coconut pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 11 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: coconut in Nouméa works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coconut pod kit really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested coconut in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a coconut bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coconut tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing coconut with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for coconut in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does coconut taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the coconut blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should coconut start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
How much does a pod kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.17 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF48 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
