Citrus sub-ohm kit IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Citrus in Nouméa: 10 units tested over 4 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.69 per 10 ml.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: citrus in Nouméa works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a citrus sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on citrus: 10 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested citrus in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a citrus bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.69 per 10 ml.

Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
How much does a sub-ohm kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF1.69 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF31 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On citrus the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF1.69 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
