Citrus pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist
Citrus in Nouméa: 6 units tested over 7 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a pod kit for citrus
A citrus pod kit from the pre-order options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.84 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Citrus sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus pod kit really costs in Nouméa
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.84 per 10 ml.
How we tested citrus in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF50 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.84 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why citrus tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
What nicotine strength should citrus start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
