Citrus pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Citrus in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 4 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Citrus pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: citrus in Nouméa works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a citrus pen device really costs in Nouméa
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.7 per 10 ml.
How we tested citrus in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why citrus tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF1.7 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF54 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
