Citrus mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Citrus in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 6 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
We run citrus the same way in Nouméa: same mesh tank, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Citrus in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
We run citrus the same way in Nouméa: same mesh tank, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested citrus in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing citrus with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.49 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF64 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
