Citrus cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Citrus in Nouméa: 16 units tested over 6 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Citrus cartomizer here
Citrus cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 16 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Citrus in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested citrus in a cartomizer
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a citrus bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF64 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.87 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long citrus in Nouméa survives.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should citrus start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
Is citrus legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
