Citrus box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Citrus in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 5 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Citrus is allowed to say
Citrus box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Citrus in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: citrus in Nouméa works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a citrus box mod really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at citrus in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested citrus in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF48 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.82 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
