Citrus box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist
Citrus in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 2 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with citrus in New Caledonia
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.25 per 10 ml.
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Below is the run we did for this search: 7 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a citrus box mod really costs in Nouméa
We run citrus the same way in Nouméa: same box mod, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested citrus in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long citrus in Nouméa survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for citrus in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
