Citrus 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Citrus in Nouméa: 6 units tested over 6 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Citrus sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.85 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus 30 ml shortfill really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested citrus in a 30 ml shortfill
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF53 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.85 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
The rules that apply here
