Cherry prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Cherry in Nouméa: 6 units tested over 2 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a prefilled pod for cherry
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
We run cherry the same way in Nouméa: same prefilled pod, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: cherry in Nouméa works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cherry prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
Cherry in Nouméa reaches the shelf in prefilled pod formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested cherry in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cherry bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a cherry bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.09 per 10 ml.
- Mixing cherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
