Cherry pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Cherry in Nouméa: 21 units tested over 5 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good pod kit from a repack
A cherry pod kit from the flat-rate options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.05 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long cherry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cherry pod kit really costs in Nouméa
Cherry pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 21 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested cherry in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cherry bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised XPF47 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.05 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pod kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.05 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF47 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does cherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the cherry blend itself harsh.
How long does cherry in a pod kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 5 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
