Cherry pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist
Cherry in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 7 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What cherry costs in Nouméa
We run cherry the same way in Nouméa: same pod kit, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Cherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.05 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long cherry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cherry pod kit really costs in Nouméa
A cherry pod kit from the compared options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.05 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested cherry in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cherry bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a cherry bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
