Cherry mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Cherry in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 8 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the cherry habit
Cherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.59 per 10 ml.
A cherry mesh tank from the cheapest options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.59 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: cherry in Nouméa works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cherry mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested cherry in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cherry bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cherry in Nouméa survives.
- Mixing cherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
