Cherry cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist
Cherry in Nouméa: 21 units tested over 7 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good cartomizer from a repack
Cherry cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 21 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long cherry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cherry cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
We run cherry the same way in Nouméa: same cartomizer, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested cherry in a cartomizer
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.33 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cherry in Nouméa survives.
- Mixing cherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
How long does cherry in a cartomizer last?
In Nouméa we measured 7 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does cherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the cherry blend itself harsh.
