Caramel starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Caramel in Nouméa: 10 units tested over 7 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Caramel starter kit here
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.11 per 10 ml.
The honest read on caramel: 10 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a caramel starter kit really costs in Nouméa
A caramel starter kit from the value options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.11 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested caramel in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long caramel in Nouméa survives.
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
