Caramel refill pack IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Caramel in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 3 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with caramel in New Caledonia
If you are looking at caramel in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Below is the run we did for this search: 7 units, refill pack, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a caramel refill pack really costs in Nouméa
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.45 per 10 ml.
How we tested caramel in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised XPF58 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.45 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Why does caramel taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.
How long does caramel in a refill pack last?
In Nouméa we measured 3 to 7 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
