Caramel RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Caramel in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 6 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the caramel habit
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
We run caramel the same way in Nouméa: same RDA, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.

How we tested caramel in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.46 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Packaging for caramel in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On caramel the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.46 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does caramel taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.
