Caramel nicotine salt bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Caramel in Nouméa: 14 units tested over 7 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a nicotine salt bottle for caramel
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: caramel in Nouméa works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a caramel nicotine salt bottle really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on caramel: 14 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested caramel in a nicotine salt bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest nicotine salt bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Not automatically. On caramel the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.59 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.

Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.

On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.59 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF31 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
