Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
We run caramel the same way in Nouméa: same 100 ml bottle, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Caramel in a 100 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the 100 ml bottle you buy decides how long caramel tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a caramel 100 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested caramel in a 100 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for 100 ml bottle in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why caramel tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
How long does caramel in a 100 ml bottle last?
In Nouméa we measured 6 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should caramel start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 100 ml bottle.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On caramel the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.36 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
