Candy vape pen IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist
Candy in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 8 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with candy in New Caledonia
Candy in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long candy tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a candy vape pen really costs in Nouméa
We run candy the same way in Nouméa: same vape pen, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested candy in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every candy bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a candy bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
Where candy goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF35 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.74 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing candy with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does candy taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the candy blend itself harsh.
How long does candy in a vape pen last?
In Nouméa we measured 8 to 7 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On candy the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.74 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
