Candy in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 6 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What candy costs in Nouméa
Candy prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.39 per 10 ml.
The honest read on candy: 7 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 7 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a candy squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at candy in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested candy in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where candy goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long candy in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.39 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does candy taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the candy blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should candy start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
