Candy RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Candy in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 2 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Candy is allowed to say
Candy in Nouméa reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long candy tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a candy RDA really costs in Nouméa
Candy in a RDA is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested candy in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a candy bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where candy goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF52 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.75 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why candy tastes flat after two days.
