Blackcurrant refill pack IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Blackcurrant in Nouméa: 21 units tested over 9 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the blackcurrant habit
We run blackcurrant the same way in Nouméa: same refill pack, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Blackcurrant sounds like one product. It is not: a refill pack running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: blackcurrant in Nouméa works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a blackcurrant refill pack really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested blackcurrant in a refill pack
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long blackcurrant in Nouméa survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On blackcurrant the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.61 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How long does blackcurrant in a refill pack last?
In Nouméa we measured 9 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
