What the label on Blackcurrant is allowed to say
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you are looking at blackcurrant in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: blackcurrant in Nouméa works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a blackcurrant refill pack really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at blackcurrant in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested blackcurrant in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every blackcurrant bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a blackcurrant bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Mixing blackcurrant with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised XPF31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.24 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On blackcurrant the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.24 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does blackcurrant taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the blackcurrant blend itself harsh.
