Blackcurrant pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Blackcurrant in Nouméa: 21 units tested over 8 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
A blackcurrant pod kit from the flat-rate options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.4 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Blackcurrant prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.4 per 10 ml.
The short version: blackcurrant in Nouméa works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a blackcurrant pod kit really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on blackcurrant: 21 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested blackcurrant in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long blackcurrant in Nouméa survives.
- Mixing blackcurrant with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
