Blackcurrant mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Blackcurrant in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 6 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
The honest read on blackcurrant: 20 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long blackcurrant tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a blackcurrant mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
We run blackcurrant the same way in Nouméa: same mesh tank, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested blackcurrant in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every blackcurrant bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long blackcurrant in Nouméa survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why blackcurrant tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for blackcurrant in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Why does blackcurrant taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the blackcurrant blend itself harsh.
