Berry pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Berry in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 3 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a pod kit for berry
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Berry sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 22 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a berry pod kit really costs in Nouméa
Berry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.49 per 10 ml.
How we tested berry in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where berry goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF57 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.49 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is berry legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Why does berry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the berry blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should berry start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
