Berry pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist
Berry in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 7 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Berry pen device here
Berry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.1 per 10 ml.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long berry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a berry pen device really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on berry: 11 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested berry in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a berry bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where berry goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised XPF65 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.1 per 10 ml.
