Apple mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist
Apple in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 5 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a mesh tank for apple
A apple mesh tank from the value options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.96 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Apple mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long apple tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a apple mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Apple in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested apple in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a apple bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where apple goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why apple tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
