Apple mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist — Frenchpolynesiaiqos
Apple in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 4 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the apple habit
Apple in Nouméa reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
We run apple the same way in Nouméa: same mesh tank, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long apple tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a apple mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.35 per 10 ml.
How we tested apple in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a apple bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where apple goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long apple in Nouméa survives.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for apple in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should apple start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.35 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF40 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
